Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BoostLock Secure ("the Application", "the App", "the Software"), an Android Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution developed by BoostLock Secure ("we", "us", "our", "the Company").

By purchasing, installing, or using BoostLock Secure, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.

Mandatory Installation Requirements

CRITICAL: Fresh Install Requirement

BoostLock Secure MUST be installed on a factory-reset device during the initial setup process. Installation on devices with existing data or configurations is NOT supported and will result in limited functionality.

1. Fresh Installation Mandate

All users purchasing BoostLock Secure licenses acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Application MUST be installed immediately after performing a factory reset on the target Android device
  • Installation during Android's initial device setup wizard is MANDATORY for proper Device Owner provisioning
  • Any existing user accounts, applications, or data on the device will prevent proper installation and must be removed
  • Failure to perform a fresh installation will result in degraded functionality, and no refunds will be issued for installation errors caused by non-compliance

2. Device Owner and Administrative Access

By installing BoostLock Secure, you explicitly authorize the Application to:

  • Establish Device Owner Mode: The Application will register itself as the Device Owner, granting it full administrative control over the Android device
  • System-Level Privileges: Device Owner status provides unrestricted access to system settings, hardware controls, and security policies
  • Irreversible Without Factory Reset: Once Device Owner mode is established, the Application cannot be uninstalled through normal means. Removal requires a full factory reset of the device
  • Override Standard Android Permissions: The Application will bypass standard Google Play protection mechanisms and user-level permission controls

3. System Control Capabilities

You acknowledge that BoostLock Secure will have the ability to:

  • Block or allow application installations system-wide
  • Disable hardware features (camera, USB, Bluetooth, microphone)
  • Restrict access to Android system settings and developer options
  • Enforce kiosk mode with single-app or multi-app whitelisting
  • Monitor and log all device activity and application usage
  • Remotely lock, wipe, or factory reset the device
  • Modify network configurations (Wi-Fi, cellular, VPN)
  • Control screen timeout, brightness, and power settings

License Grant and Restrictions

1. License Types

  • Single Device License (Rp 200,000): One-time payment for one device with lifetime usage rights
  • 3-Device Pack (Rp 350,000): One-time payment for three devices with lifetime usage rights and priority email support
  • Enterprise License (Custom Pricing): Unlimited devices with dedicated account manager, SLA, and API access

2. License Restrictions

  • Licenses are non-transferable between devices without written authorization
  • Each license is bound to a specific device identifier (IMEI/Serial Number)
  • Reverse engineering, decompilation, or modification of the Application is strictly prohibited
  • Resale or redistribution of the Application or license keys is not permitted
  • Attempting to bypass license validation mechanisms will result in immediate license revocation

User Responsibilities and Obligations

  • Lawful Use: You agree to use BoostLock Secure only for legitimate business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Employee Notification: If deploying on employee devices, you must inform staff about device management and monitoring capabilities
  • Data Protection: You are responsible for complying with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) when collecting employee or customer data through the Application
  • Backup Responsibility: We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device wipes, factory resets, or policy enforcement
  • Network Security: You must maintain secure administrator credentials and protect access to the management dashboard

Payment Terms and Refund Policy

1. Payment Processing

  • All payments are processed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)
  • Payment methods include bank transfer, e-wallet, and other locally accepted payment systems
  • License activation occurs within 24 hours of payment confirmation

2. Refund Policy

  • 7-Day Refund Window: Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the Application fails to function due to technical issues on our end
  • No Refunds for User Error: Refunds will NOT be issued for improper installation, failure to perform factory reset, or device incompatibility not disclosed during purchase
  • Partial Refunds: For 3-Device Packs, partial refunds are not available once any license has been activated
  • Enterprise Contracts: Custom refund terms apply as specified in individual agreements

Software Updates and Support

1. Software Updates

  • We provide regular security updates and feature improvements at no additional cost
  • Updates may be automatically installed to maintain security standards
  • We reserve the right to discontinue support for outdated Android versions

2. Technical Support

  • Single Device License: Email support with 48-hour response time
  • 3-Device Pack: Priority email support with 24-hour response time
  • Enterprise: Dedicated account manager with phone and WhatsApp support
  • Support is provided in English and Indonesian languages

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

1. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL DEVICES.

2. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Data loss resulting from device wipes, factory resets, or policy enforcement
  • Business interruption or lost profits due to Application malfunction
  • Damages caused by improper installation or configuration
  • Third-party claims arising from your use of the Application
  • Incompatibility with specific device models not officially supported

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

Google Play Policy and Distribution

Important Notice: BoostLock Secure operates outside of standard Google Play Store distribution and policies. The Application requires Device Owner privileges that are not permissible for general consumer apps on Google Play.

  • The Application is distributed through direct download (APK) or enterprise channels (iMin Store, MDM platforms)
  • Google Play Protect may flag the Application as potentially harmful due to system-level access requirements - this is expected behavior
  • You must explicitly allow installation from unknown sources to install the Application
  • The Application is designed for enterprise use and is not intended for consumer devices

Termination of Service

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend licenses for violation of these Terms
  • Termination may occur immediately without notice for fraudulent activity or license abuse
  • Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and perform a factory reset on managed devices
  • No refunds will be issued for terminated licenses due to Terms violations

Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users or through in-app notifications. Continued use of the Application after Terms modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Jakarta, Indonesia
  • You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or participation in class action lawsuits

• You understand the Application will establish Device Owner mode with full system control
• You accept the Application's operation outside Google Play Store policies
• You will not hold BoostLock Secure liable for data loss or business interruption resulting from proper operation of the Application
